| I'm sure most of you have found that the contact information has been off the site for quite some time. Aside from the fact the rest of the site is also out of date including the portfolio and even our partners; the lack of updates on the site is due to the fact that I've been so busy with word-of-mouth projects that I really couldn't commit to any other projects beyond that scope; in fact I've recently found that I've had to scale back.
I'd like to thank those clients that have helped Western Webmasters grow that I've been forced to let go. I really am looking forward to your business in the future, but I need this next year to spend on the company itself to ensure full support of future growth.
Western Webmasters has changed [and grown] immensely over the years and after nearly ten years of business, it's time to do some reorganization of the company itself in order to grow beyond the current capacity of the company. This will include (amongst other things) a company name change, a new website and a new focus.
Although I'm not in a position to disclose anymore information at this time, I want to make it vividly clear that I am not closing company doors and we are still open for business and working on projects; having just completed The Belleville Fire Department's Union website this past week. I am however being highly selective for the time being until the company reorganization has been completed.
Further details will be announced at a later time as pieces of the puzzle come together.

| Changes Coming |
April 10, 2006 |
|
| This site design is already almost two years old and has served its purpose well as a simple site (previous designs of this site served the same purpose). After much planning and preparation, it has been decided to make westernwebmasters.com better reflect our company services. Over the next few months there will be a number of significant changes to this site. All changes will be completed by the end of 2006. Please bear in mind that these changes will not affect current customer relations. |
| Spring Cleaning |
March 14, 2006 |
|
| The Western Webmasters servers will undergo quite a bit of maintenance over the next few weeks which involve both database and software upgrades. This may require some momentary downtime. Understand that this is planned and there is no need for alarm. Thanks for your patience while we do what's necessary to improve your experience on the web. |
| No Longer Seeking Help |

| We are in need of freelance web designers with knowledge in Photoshop or Fireworks, HTML and CSS. We also need freelance developers who are familiar with HTML and basic image editing skills. Any knowledge in ASP is a plus, but not required. No programming or database skills are required. Please contact us if you are interested. This is a good opportunity for any freelance developer to add to their portfolio and work at your own pace. We look forward to hearing from you. |

| KoldKast v2.0 and The ColdFusion Index |
August 1, 2005 |
|
| Two highlights coming in the next few weeks.
First and foremost is the release of KoldKast v2.0. With several thousand downloads since the release of v1.0, v2.0 is a complete rewrite of the original. Based on feedback, unlike v1.x, v2.x is not designed as an existing site plugin (although it will have the ability to plugin to an existing site) but is designed as a complete application with a front-end UI. The application is far more feature robust and simpler to use; designed to be more of a competitor with blogger.com and Movable Type. There will now be several licensing options as well. The Free Edition will still exist, but will have limited functionality. Obviously the Standard Edition will remove the restrictions of the Free Edition and a new Professional Edition will introduce multiple licenses for a significant price difference. An unencrypted developer edition is also being considered along with a hosted edition. Version 2.0 will be available in September.
In conjunction with the release of KoldKast v2.0, The ColdFusion Index site has been redesigned and will relaunch accordingly. |
